Positions for which we may have openings include:

 RECEPTIONISTS

Responsibilities include scheduling appointments, answering the telephone, setting up new clients and patients, preparation and maintenance of medical records, admitting and discharging patients, filling some prescriptions, over the counter sales, mailings, computer operation, financial transactions, filing, and front office and reception area maintenance.  Receptionists will assume the responsibility for acquiring the medical and legal information necessary for the performance of their duties.

 RECEPTIONIST POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME

VETERINARY TECHNICIANS

Technicians are responsible for hospital maintenance, assisting the doctors, laboratory procedures, radiology, client communication, medical procedures, pharmacy, operation and maintenance of instruments and equipment, inventory, daily treatment of hospitalized patients, rehabilitation, assisting in the operating room and maintenance of the OSHA and Hazardous Materials programs.

 TECHNICIAN POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME

VETERINARY ASSISTANT

Veterinary Assistants perform a wide variety of tasks, including many of the same duties as the Veterinary Technician, but there are legal limitations on which procedures they are allowed to perform on their own. Assistants help in the examination room, fill prescriptions, perform telephone callbacks, educate clients, clean and sterilize surgical packs, restrain animals, and help in surgery.

VETERINARY ASSISTANT POSITIONS ARE AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME

KENNEL ATTENDANT

Kennel personnel are responsible for all animal care in the wards.  These duties include feeding, cleaning, and handling pets that are hospitalized, as well as maintenance, laundry, and waste disposal.  Kennel attendants may be called upon to assist the Technicians and Assistants when needed.
